Auto responder systems, call forwarding and call waiting systems and remote customer service are just some of the latest innovations in this field.
What exactly is auto responder and remote customer service? Well, I am sure you would have come across automated systems a number of times, whenever you called your electrical appliances manufacturer or cellphone operator for queries related to their services. A recorded voice usually dictates directions to you by asking you to press certain buttons to give corresponding instructions.
Well, this whole process, in shorter, simpler terms is known as auto responder and remote customer service. Auto responding telephone systems are great for saving time and money that you would have otherwise spent on hiring people to answer simple- everyday queries. For the more elaborate questions, you can ask the user to direct the line to a human staff- thus making it an all out customer support system.
